Vietcetera: How I have changed, What I have learned, and Why we invested

There are many people asking us why Genesia Ventures invested in Vietcetera. Let's look back with me, on how I've changed for nearly a year thanks to accompanying Vietcetera to understand the reason!

I was bad at writing and used to think that I did not have much time and a lot of patience to focus on writing a complete article. But since we invested in Vietcetera, I wanted to understand the needs of readers, as well as the needs of content contributors, so I practiced writing. I have understood more that readers want to gain respect, about the time they spend reading something, they need it to be valuable enough in terms of information and lessons to be conveyed through each article. I have understood the content writers better, that it was really tiring and time-consuming to complete a high-quality article. The writers want to share, spread their meaningful messages, and be recognized. For nearly a year, I have been practicing writing and contributing about 8 articles to Vietcetera. And I won't stop, will continue to learn, experience, and contribute more valuable content to this page.

I am a person who was easily annoyed with the poor-quality, shocking, and grabbing articles, so I have read very little online news in Vietnam. But since when, I have enjoyed reading the news on Vietcetera, it can be said that the feeling of "satisfied " after reading every article on it when I can gain all positive messages, lessons, perspectives from the article. Now I have a habit of having to go to Vietcetera every day to read articles. Even when there are times of work pressure or disorientation of life, I also go there to find suitable articles for valuable suggestions.

Truly nothing so happy and brings much “ROI” than when going with Vietcetera, being a part of it, to "contribute" and "receive" the best.

Vietcetera's readers are mostly young Vietnamese, accounting for more than 30 million Vietnamese population, who deserve to read meaningful and valuable content. Because the contents we read each day will shape our personality and mindset. Therefore, the Media and Communication industry should also be considered as an important industry, in helping the society to develop better, like the way the Education sector has been contributing. At Genesia Ventures, we believe in this important mission of Vietcetera and that led to our investment decision.

We still have a long way to go together, so I sincerely hope the Vietcetera team will always maintain the spirit of enthusiastic, creative work, to execute the committed vision of "Bring the best of the world to Vietnam and bring Vietnam's most beautiful to the world ". Fighting!!

Có nhiều người hỏi là tại sao bên quỹ mình lại đầu tư vào Vietcetera. Hãy cùng mình nhìn lại chặng đường gần 1 năm nay mình đã thay đổi thế nào nhờ đồng hành cùng với Vietcetera để hiểu lý do nhé!

Mình là một người viết không giỏi, không có nhiều thời gian và nhiều kiên nhẫn để ngồi tập trung viết ra một bài hoàn chỉnh. Nhưng kể từ khi đầu tư vào Vietcetera, mình muốn hiểu được nhu cầu của người đọc, cũng như của người đóng góp nội dung cụ thể thế nào, nên mình đã tập tành viết thử. Mình đã hiểu hơn được người đọc muốn nhận được sự tôn trọng, về thời gian họ bỏ ra đọc một cái gì đó, cần phải đủ giá trị về mặt thông tin và bài học gửi gắm qua mỗi bài viết. Mình hiểu được người viết nội dung hơn, thực sự là rất mệt và tốn thời gian để hoàn thành một bài viết chất lượng. Người viết muốn được chia sẻ, lan toả ý nghĩa, và được ghi nhận. Gần một năm qua, mình đã tập viết và đóng góp khoảng 8 bài viết cho Vietcetera. Và mình sẽ không dừng lại, sẽ tiếp tục học tập, trải nghiệm, và tiếp tục viết đóng góp nội dung cho trang này.

Mình là một người dễ bức xúc với những bài báo kém chất lượng, chộp giật, gây sốc, do đó mình đã từng rất ít đọc tin tức online trong nước. Nhưng kể từ khi nào, mình đã rất enjoy đọc tin trên Vietcetera, có thể nói là cảm giác "đã" sau khi đọc mỗi một bài viết trên đó, mình đều nhận được những thông điệp, bài học tích cực, những góc nhìn mới mẻ thú vị. Giờ mình có thói quen là ngày nào cũng phải ra vào trang để đọc bài. Thậm chí, có những lúc áp lực công việc hay mất định hướng cuộc sống, mình cũng vào đó tìm những bài viết phù hợp để tìm thấy cho mình những gợi ý có giá trị.

Thực sự, không có gì hạnh phúc và "có lãi" như vậy, khi mà được sống cùng Vietcetera, được là một phần trong đó, tham gia "đóng góp" và "nhận lại" những điều tốt đẹp nhất.

Độc giả của Vietcetera đa phần là những người Việt trẻ, chiếm hơn 30 triệu dân số Việt Nam, xứng đáng được đọc những nội dung lành mạnh, văn minh, có nhiều giá trị. Bởi vì, những nội dung đón đọc mỗi ngày đó, sẽ định hình lên nhân cách, tư duy của chúng ta. Do đó, ngành Truyền thông cũng là nên là một ngành đóng vai trò quan trọng, giúp xã hội phát triển đi lên như cách mà ngành Giáo dục đang đóp góp. Quỹ đầu tư Genesia Ventures đã tin tưởng vào sứ mệnh quan trọng này của Vietcetera và tham gia đầu tư.

Chặng đường còn dài mới tới đích, hi vọng team Vietcetera luôn luôn giữ vững tinh thần lao động sáng tạo hăng say, thực hiện được tầm nhìn cam kết " Mang những điều tốt đẹp nhất của thế giới về Việt Nam và mang những điều tốt đẹp nhất của Việt Nam ra thế giới"!
